Fashion Speaks International was founded specifically to speak up about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). Our efforts support Families of Sisters in Spirit, a front line organization that works with the families of the missing and murdered.
Our goal is to network across Turtle Island with other Fashion Industry professionals, to create awareness, raise money to help families with the expense of searching for a loved one, burial expenses, counselling services, legal counselling and all other essential services for the families.
Fashion touches every human being, from the moment we are born. The fashion industry is Worldwide and massive, if we raise our voices together we can and will make an impact. In order to reach as many people as possible, we are planning Fashion Speaks Fashion Shows all across Turtle Island.
Our focus has changed due to the pandemic that we find ourselves in. Since we are unable to conduct "Business as usual" we have shifted gears and we are working in a global, online market.
We invite you to contact us should you be interested in hosting an event, We'd be happy to assist you!
